Senior Talent Acquisition Partner

Location: Greater Toronto Area or Remote Canada | Engagement Type: Part- time | Work Model: Flexible

Moreng is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to support complex, high impact hiring across aerospace, engineering, and regulated industries.

This role is designed for an experienced recruiter who can operate as a trusted hiring advisor, not a resume processor. You will work closely with founders, hiring managers, and technical advisors to deliver high quality talent in environments where accuracy, judgment, and credibility matter.

What Youll Do

Sourcing for senior, technical, and leadership roles

Partner with Account Executive to clarify role requirements, priorities, and hiring risks

Translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into effective hiring strategies

Source and engage high caliber candidates through proactive outreach and relationship building

Conduct deep screening interviews focused on capability, judgment, and real world experience

Advise team on market conditions, compensation, and candidate availability

Present shortlists with clear rationale, tradeoffs, and hiring recommendations

Act as a credibility partner in senior level hiring discussions

Maintain high standards around candidate experience and client communication

Identify red flags, challenge assumptions, and protect hiring quality

What You Bring

3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition

Proven success hiring technical and or regulated roles such as engineering, aerospace, or industrial

Strong intake, screening, and assessment skills

Comfort operating independently with minimal oversight

Clear communicator who can turn hiring complexity into decisive action

High integrity and strong judgment

Agency or in house hybrid background preferred

Engagement Details

Commission based compensation only

Compensation: CAD 3,000 to 5,000 per successful placement depending on role complexity and seniority

Remote first with flexible working hours

Independent contractor relationship

Opportunity for increased commissions as volume and complexity grow
