Senior Composites Technician
Job Description:
Our client is a Canadian aerospace company developing cutting-edge launch technology. As they scale production, they are looking for a hands-on Senior Composites Technician to join their manufacturing team near Toronto. Onsite full time.
What you will do
Fabricate, layup, cure, and inspect composite structures for aerospace components. Work with prepreg carbon fibre, perform vacuum bagging and autoclave operations, read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders, and support structural repair and quality inspection. Mentor junior technicians and contribute to process improvement on the shop floor.
What you bring
3 or more years of hands-on composite fabrication experience in aerospace, defence, or high-performance manufacturing. Proficiency with wet layup, prepreg, vacuum infusion, and autoclave processes. Ability to read engineering drawings and comply with inspection standards. AME license or composites certification is an asset. Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
