About the Role
Our client is a Canadian aerospace company developing cutting-edge launch technology. As they scale production, they are looking for a hands-on Senior Composites Technician to join their manufacturing team near Toronto. Onsite full time.
What You Will Do
Fabricate, lay up, cure and inspect composite aerospace structures on the shop floor, supporting structural repair and quality inspection while mentoring junior technicians and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Fabricate, layup, cure, and inspect composite structures for aerospace components
• Work with prepreg carbon fibre and perform vacuum bagging and autoclave operations
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
• Support structural repair and quality inspection
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to process improvement on the shop floor
Must Haves
• 3+ years of hands-on composite fabrication experience in aerospace, defence, or high-performance manufacturing
• Proficiency with wet layup, prepreg, vacuum infusion, and autoclave processes
• Ability to read engineering drawings and comply with inspection standards
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
Nice to Haves
• AME license or composites certification
